Born & raised in Huntington, West Virginia, Brandon first made his way onto television at age five in a local news segment. But it was in 1994 when he got his big break, selected as an anchor/reporter for 'Kidsmag!,' a local news show for kids. This sparked his love for media.
Simultaneously during a successful run in college radio at WMUL-FM Huntington, Brandon started as a jack-of-all-trades at local Clear Channel, then Kindred Communications radio stations, doing everything but sales & fixing the transmitters. In 2007, he relocated to Los Angeles to fully begin his journalism career at KNX 1070 Newsradio.
Brandon took his first TV gig in 2012 as a news producer at WOWK-TV. From there, he joined WTOP Radio in Washington, DC, in 2015, where he expanded his skills to include on-air & digital reporting. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he relocated to Milwaukee as a Senior News Producer for Spectrum News, then advanced as a Daily Content Manager at News 3 Now Madison in 2024.
